Head Coach Update | May 2014

The 2013-14 Kentucky Fire Juniors (KFJ) season has concluded and the KFJ Staff are in the process of building for 2014-15 year. We would like to personally thank all participants (players, parents, coaches and administration) for your commitment and perseverance to the process of developing high quality soccer players and teams throughout the 2013-14 year.  It is a long process, which requires thousands of hours with the ball and working with highly trained/licensed soccer coaches.

KFJ would not be able to develop players if it were not for our coach’s commitment to excellence. I cannot say enough about the experience and talent our coaching staff possess here at the Kentucky Fire Juniors.  All of our coaches at KFJ are top-level, licensed coaches who continually seek ways to improve their craft.

KFJ is a recognized club here in the Kentucky Youth Soccer Association (KYSA) and in the Midwest Regional League (MRL).  We look forward to participating in league play, tournaments and college showcases again in the 2014-15 year. It is our goal to have the best players and teams in the Midwest.

We will resume our hard working schedule in August and we want to welcome all returning and new families to our KFJ family.

Have a wonderful summer and remember to stay fit and work with the ball during your time off.

Mike Dickey
